Service Technician

Mining is a business area in Sandvik Group and a leading provider of equipment, tools, parts, service, digital solutions, and sustainability-driven technologies for the mining and construction industry. Applications include drilling, cutting, loading and unloading, tunneling, and stone mining.

We are now looking for a Service Technician for exciting tasks in Mo i Rana.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience as a mechanic or service technician – preferably as a plant mechanic, agricultural mechanic, mechanic on heavy vehicles, or similar. You are:

• Service-oriented and have the customer in focus
• Solution-oriented and structured
• Comfortable with working both independently and in a team
• Good at communicating in Norwegian and English
• You have relevant vocational training and work experience. Work experience can compensate for formal education.

Job duties:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of Sandvik's mining equipment – both at the customer and in the workshop.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic control systems
• Contribute to the machines performing at their best – and a little more

You will be based at our office in Storforshei, with working hours during the day from Monday to Friday, and must expect travel in the region. Reporting is to the Service Manager – Mo in Rana.
