This role plays a key influencing role in supporting the Rock Tools business with a strong focus on major accounts within Australia. You will provide expert technical guidance in underground applications, partnering closely with the Sales and Contracts teams to identify new business opportunities and optimise performance across our existing product portfolio. You will ensure contract processes are followed, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the achievement of commercial objectives. A major focus of the role will be developing capability — both internally and externally — by upskilling our Sales and Contracts teams in product, applications, and digital knowledge, as well as delivering advanced product and technical training to customers.
In addition, the role provides ongoing technical product support to our sales teams and customers, ensuring our solutions deliver maximum value and performance in the field. Travel is required.
You are a safety-focused and professional individual who leads with honesty, integrity, and a high level of technical expertise. With extensive knowledge of underground Tools, including Top Hammer and DTH products, you bring strong training and presentation skills and a proven ability to develop strategies that enhance customer satisfaction. You excel at engaging, influencing, and building effective relationships with key stakeholders to deliver results. Highly driven and determined, you consistently work towards achieving goals and targets while maintaining a strong customer focus. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across global teams and time zones, you are skilled in documentation, report writing, and presentation preparation, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
