Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy is a leading producer of mining equipment and tools, as well as maintenance and technical services. Its products include drilling machines, mechanical mining equipment, crushers, and loading and transportation devices. We are also a provider of digital mining technologies, developing solutions for both underground and surface mining industries. We operate in several locations in Finland.

Sandvikin HR Services team serves the Finnish locations centrally from Tampere (Pirkkala). We are the first contact for executives and the entire staff in various personnel matters. Our role is to support and ensure that personnel processes enable the business to succeed.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and skilled recruiter to strengthen our HR team (15 FTE). This is a full-time, temporary position until 31.12.2026.

Your Role

Focus on Sandvik’s Finnish operations' technology-driven recruitments by supporting executives and applicants through the recruitment process. Additionally, you will handle diverse daily employment matters throughout the lifecycle and participate in HR process development. You will provide solutions to various personnel issues arising from business operations. You will work as part of an efficient HR Services team in collaboration with executives, employees, and other stakeholders.

Your Background

You have a relevant university degree and several years of experience in operational human resource management, particularly in recruitment. Experience in utilizing modern recruitment channels and knowledge of the export industry environment is advantageous.

We are looking for someone with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work constructively with diverse people. You have experience working in multi-skilled or multicultural teams and can adapt your communication to the situation. You communicate fluently in English. You are proficient in HR and recruitment systems (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, and Workday) and quickly adopt new digital tools.

You have the ability to view things from many different perspectives and enjoy solving various problems. You remain calm and systematic even when the pace quickens.
