Field Service Specialist - Digital Drilling

Sandvik Argentina is looking for:

The Field Service Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining fluid and cordial relationships with customers, in order to keep them loyal to the Sandvik brand. Support technical aspects for the end user, in maintenance and/or resolution of product-related problems. Interact with the customer to develop or suggest improvements in the utilization processes of equipment, reporting to management its implementation. Detect business opportunities from the relationship with the customer and/or site visits.

About the Position:

Develop long-term relationships with customers, to ensure that customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Sandvik brand.

Provide technical support and training to Sandvik equipment users and internal staff.

Generate technical product reports of your specialty by visits made, detailing interventions to the equipment, evaluations, suggested improvements and inform the Manager, with their respective costs if applicable.

Provide Managers or Service Heads of Sandvik the necessary information to allow improvements in the equipment and/or its operation.

Assist in the collection of essential data to process warranty claims and engineering improvements in products.

Manage OEM suppliers.

Review the recommendations of spare parts with your Head.

Provide the P&S structure; information of the costs of product life in a timely and accurate manner (Machine Life Operating Costs, MLOC).

Investigate warranty claims, proactively, in order to improve customer satisfaction; and provide the collected information to the warranty analyst.

Coordinate and ensure that the maintenance of Sandvik equipment is carried out in accordance with the company's standards.

Perform equipment start-up and training.

Supervise the correct execution of commissioned works and the established deadlines for the execution of these.

Diagnose component and system failures.

Interact with Sandvik factory to develop or suggest product modifications to contribute to customer loyalty.

Plan and organize your own work flexibly so as not to affect customer operations.

Perform the evaluation, quantification and request of materials and supplies for the efficient development of its functions.

Your Profile:

Technical or Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineer, or related fields preferably.

Preferably minimum experience of 5 years performing similar functions in multinational companies.

Availability to travel.

Management of financial and management indicators. Corporate writing.

Sandvik equipment, spare parts and systems of the product line (advanced, according to specialty).
