Select, lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional engineers and technical and administrative support staff to ensure that engineering operations are completed on-time, within budget, and as per the set goals.
Create career development programs for the team and develop medium-term planning for the growth of the process.
Ensure implementation of projects for deliverables within the organization’s scope.
Follow up and conduct performance management of operations.
Develop operations according to best practice.
Organize, plan, and direct the daily activities of a team.
Communicate all activities that impact on equipment performance to the customer at all levels from technicians/operators through management.
Assist in analyzing planning and updating reliability and preventative support tasks.
Perform regular equipment health checks.
Analyze and diagnose performance of equipment.
Monitor parts usage patterns and liaise with inventory controllers to ensure appropriate stock levels.
Aftermarket support to Equipment divisions and Sales Areas.
Identify and analyze causes of damage and/or malfunction.
Inspect operational and maintenance practices and provide recommendations to customers and personnel.
Requirements:
More than 15 years of experience in a similar field, with proven experience in managing engineering or technical service teams.
Hands-on experience in field service operations, project management, and resource planning.
Experience in implementing the best operational practices and managing budgets.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Management, or a related field.
Advanced technical qualifications or certifications may be advantageous.
