Assistant Service Engineer

Maintenance Technician

Main Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace parts, following instructions and technical equipment manuals.
• Interpret basic mechanical designs and maintenance manuals, assembling and dismantling to make necessary alignments and adjustments.
• Perform maintenance tasks independently and verify task results and tracks operating equipment to detect possible problems.
• Report and document executed work according to relevant procedures and work instructions.
• Basic customer communication – can explain basic operating procedures and refer to responsible/relevant person.
• Give feedback to line manager/team leader with regards to equipment maintenance and service challenges.
• Limited guidance to level 1/trainees.
• Ensure that all work procedures (utilizing the tools provided), are carried out according to safety standards.
• Prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to others.

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering discipline with 3 years' relevant experience in Construction equipment industry.
• Applicants shall have basic understanding in technology of Automotive, Electrical, Hydraulics or Mechanical knowledge.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at various levels and a willingness to learn and work in a growing team.
• Responsible and independent, able to be multi-tasking, eager to learn.
• Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work under pressure.
• Literary and computer skills are both essential.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese and fair English.
• The candidate is a HK resident.
• Possess of HKSAR permanent ID card.
• Current driving license (#1, 2) is required.
