Head Of Store Operations M&S

You will manage the Food and Fashion, Home and Beauty division of Marks and Spencer in a combined operational and commercial position; you will work closely with the Managing Director and the senior finance team to plan and deliver business strategy, financial targets and marketing plan.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate a clear understanding of store/business strategic direction and communicate clearly to your team members; adhere to and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures; work closely with the HR department to lead, manage and develop staff according to the correct channels and procedures; continuously drive team performance, recognising and celebrating success and challenging underperformance promptly; manage budgeted spend working with the Finance Director/Managing Director to agree on period budgets; work closely with the UK team and Trading Manager.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Managerial experience in Foods; exceptional leadership skills; effective time-management skills; excellent coaching and development skills; ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; proven financial aptitude; proven track record in delivering results.
