We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will provide essential support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth execution of daily HR operations within a large organizational setting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who values confidentiality and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize employee records, ensuring all sensitive information is securely maintained.
• Conduct audits for workers' compensation and provide assistance in managing claims effectively.
• Collaborate with external partners to address HR-related inquiries and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in various HR functions, including onboarding and benefits administration, to support employee needs.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data and information.
• Participate in virtual meetings to provide updates and contribute to HR project discussions.
• Assist in the adoption and utilization of company-specific HR systems and tools as needed.
• Provide support for ongoing HR initiatives and projects to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of HR administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in human resources, with a strong understanding of HR administration and employee relations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and safeguard confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and technologies specific to HR operations.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively participate in virtual meetings.
• Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related technologies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with benefit functions, onboarding processes, and workers' compensation procedures.
• Comfortable working in a large organization with a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
