Position Summary

This position is responsible for deploying, operating, and securing both physical and virtual Windows environments as well as VMware infrastructure, while delivering proactive monitoring and 24/7 on-call support to keep critical systems running smoothly.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

• Install and maintain physical and virtual Windows servers.
• Install and maintain VMware infrastructure.
• Monitor Windows and VMware servers for resource, system, and hardware problems.
• Work independently with minimal guidance on complex issues and projects. Provide Windows server support to internal application owners.
• Work on a team to see projects to completion.
• Participate in a rotating on-call 24/7 schedule to support critical systems.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• Minimum 8 years of system engineering experience.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communications skills.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Able to independently write and maintain code to automate processes.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $147,275. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

At Samsung SAS, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
