Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infra Reliability Engineer to lock in the 24×7x365 uptime required by our high stakes fabrication lines, preventing costly shutdowns and safeguarding revenue. By centralizing and standardizing reliability programs—FMEA, 8 D root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and KPI tracking—the role will raise MTBF, cut MTTR, and streamline spare parts inventory. The engineer will sharpen audit readiness, reduce compliance penalties, break down cross functional silos, and accelerate continuous improvement cycles, all while aligning SAS metrics with Samsung's global HQ initiatives. The combined impact of reduced downtime, higher yield, lower maintenance spend, and stronger quality assurance. Lastly, he or she will coordinate with reliability experts at SAS and Headquarters (S. Korea) to lead benchmarking initiatives.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
