Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

  • Advice Unit Part on the cleaning processes scope of work Inspection Methods: Develop and implement inspection methods to verify the cleanliness of parts, such as visual inspection, chemical analysis, and particle counting.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure that cleaning processes meet or exceed industry and customer quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cleaning processes, including parameters, procedures, and results. Material Analysis: Analyze the material composition of parts to understand their cleaning requirements.
  • Compatibility: Ensure that cleaning agents and processes are compatible with the part materials and do not cause damage. Communicate with Unit Part engineering to understand their specific requirements and provide solutions.
  • Identify Issues: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to part cleanliness, such as residual contaminants or surface damage.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to determine the source of cleaning-related problems and implement countermeasures Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with cleaning processes, such as chemical handling and disposal.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve cleaning processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in cleaning processes, quality control, and material analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of cleaning technologies, chemical processes, and quality control methods.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve cleaning-related issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • 7 years semiconductor engineering experience (equipment/process) or 4 years of direct experience preferable working on spare parts quality and cleaning processes.
