Description Of Work: This position provides direct supervision to the daily operations of the 9-1-1 Center ensuring effective and efficient operation of assigned shift and personnel. Individuals provide support for major incidents, prepare daily line up rotation, and serve as a Communications management representative as needed. Work is performed under the supervision of the Telecommunications Manager. Effective supervisors are knowledgeable and flexible decision makers who perform well under pressure. Selected applicant must be available to work any shift.

Minimum Education And Experience: Applicants must be high school graduate and at least 18 years old, possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License, have five or more years of experience as a Telecommunicator III, Certified Training Officer, or comparable position with supervisory duties within a 9-1-1 Center, be certified in CPR, EMD, EFD, DCI, and complete NIMS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 within one year of hire.
