8x8 is seeking an accomplished Strategic Account Director to lead growth within our largest service provider and strategic alliance accounts. This individual will act as a senior relationship owner and trusted advisor, shaping long-term partnerships and ensuring mutual success at scale. The role requires a leader who can navigate highly complex ecosystems, influence senior executives, and drive transformative joint initiatives that expand revenue and market presence.

This is a high-profile position for a professional with deep expertise in strategic alliances, service provider partnerships, and global account leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own executive relationships and overall account strategy for top-tier service provider and alliance partners.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans that align 8x8 solutions with partner growth objectives.

Alliance Development & Growth

  • Expand and deepen strategic alliances, creating differentiated joint offerings and go-to-market motions.
  • Negotiate and manage complex multi-year agreements with service providers, distributors, and strategic partners.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Oversight

  • Deliver predictable revenue growth across UCaaS, CCaaS, and CPaaS lines.
  • Manage multi-million–dollar account portfolios with accountability for renewals, upsell, and expansion.

Executive Engagement & Influence

  • Build C-suite relationships across global service providers, ensuring 8x8 is positioned as a strategic partner.
  • Influence senior stakeholders on digital transformation, AI adoption, and customer experience strategies.

Cross-Functional Orchestration

  • Lead virtual account teams across sales engineering, product, marketing, and partner success to deliver on account objectives.
  • Provide senior-level forecasting, reporting, and performance insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years' experience in strategic alliances and service provider account management, preferably in SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or adjacent technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-million–dollar global accounts and expanding strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of service provider ecosystems and alliance business models.
  • Demonstrated success engaging at the CIO/CTO/COO/CEO level to drive joint growth initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to structure complex commercial agreements.
  • Experience developing and executing multi-year strategic account and alliance plans.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and strong executive reporting skills.
