8x8 is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team in Cebu, Philippines. You will play a crucial role in the development of a new SaaS product, collaborating closely with colleagues from Singapore, Europe, and North America, and engaging actively in our dynamic, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end systems.
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and Redux based on provided designs and wireframes.
• Optimize components to deliver maximum performance across diverse devices and browsers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across the team.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Take ownership of code quality, actively contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale applications.
• 7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, working primarily with Java, Spring Framework and JavaScript.
• Significant expertise with ReactJS and Redux; experience with AngularJS or VueJS is beneficial.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS.
• Excellent development experience with Java-based RESTful web services.
• Good knowledge of Java concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous APIs.
• Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, and web security practices.
• Understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks at the unit and integration levels.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD practices (using Jenkins or GitHub), and SaaS product development.
• Eager to learn, ambitious, and enthusiastic about innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about producing high-quality software solutions.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
