This position is responsible for:
Drives truck and/or van to mall(s) to pick up gifts and take them to the Christmas warehouse. Responsible for driving the truck and/or van to and from homes, agencies and churches to pick up gifts, stockings, etc. Loads and unloads gifts from the truck to the warehouse. Operates the truck and/or van in compliance with established Salvation Army standards and State driving regulations; lifts, carries, loads and unloads Christmas donations, gifts, stocks, etc.; ensures the safety, security and accountability of the vehicle and donations at all times; assists in performing work at the Christmas warehouse and center as requested.

Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to operate commercial equipment.
Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing duties given.
Ability to perform continuous stooping, standing and climbing as well as lift and carry and/or push/pull moderate (25 – 50 lbs) and possibly heavy (50-100 lbs) materials and donations.
Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
A High School diploma or GED AND
A minimum of two years driving experience. OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
A Valid Drivers License
