Christmas Driver
Provide transportation and coordination for kettle season. In doing so, maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport bellringers and kettles to and from sites.
- Help to maintain equipment, checking that all bellringers are clean and presentable.
- Provide badges to bellringers when dropped off.
- Coordinate with Corps Officers on all disciplinary problems.
- Log drop off & pick up times of bellringers on route sheet and have bellringers sign-off.
- Conduct periodical site checks throughout the day to ensure that bellringers are working.
- Assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
- Secure monies at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the Corps Officers. In contacts related to this position's duties, this individual acts as a representative of The Salvation Army and its mission.
Performance Measurements
This individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved, as well as the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of accomplishing assigned goals.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- 1-year related experience with a good knowledge of the area.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Clearance of TSA MVR check.

Position Limitations
- This individual will only commit Army resources that have been allocated or approved.
- This individual will keep the Corps Officers informed on all critical issues relating to their area of responsibility.
- This individual will adhere to all policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- This position is required to do light physical.
- In order to successfully perform the essential functions of this position the employee is regularly required to drive and set up kettle equipment.
- This position requires the ability to lift at least 25.
- The work environment for this position includes an office or outside environment with a low to high noise.
- Must be able to drive.
