The Flow Engineering Leader for Technical Support and Power Plant is responsible for defining, implementing, and sustaining the engineering processes associated with document issuance and technical support for the MRO (Maintenance Repair Overhaul) shop for LEAP engines, ensuring regulatory compliance, adherence to the shop visit workscope, respect for documentation and customer requirements, while always seeking operational efficiency and demonstrating technical traceability. This role is key during the launch phase of the new site, acting as a technical reference and change agent for organizational adaptation, onboarding of the engineering team under their responsibility, building identity, and defining the workplace culture.
Engineering (aeronautical, mechanical, industrial, or related fields), minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO or regulated industry, preferably in site transformation contexts. Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and expert handling of aeronautical technical documentation. Outstanding skills in technical leadership, change management, onboarding, organizational culture development, and cross-functional communication. Proficiency in digital document management systems and collaborative tools. Proactive, resilient, results-oriented attitude, focused on building community and fostering a sense of belonging in dynamic environments.
Provide specialized technical support to the shop, ensuring accurate interpretation of technical data and enabling safe and timely operational decision-making. Lead the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of engineering workflows, technical documentation, and MRO shop support processes. Ensure proper management of documentation (manuals, engineering data, work orders, SB/AD – Service Bulletins / Airworthiness Directives), guaranteeing compliance with aviation authorities and customer requirements. Act as the technical reference for the process, serving as the focal point for complex inquiries, deviation analysis, problem resolution, and technical risk management. Align with the operational launch of the new site the proper process adaptation, Retex, interface alignment between areas, and validation of information flows. Lead onboarding, training, and alignment activities for personnel on new processes, promoting a shared identity and a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with quality, planning, production, supply chain, and external engineering to ensure end-to-end process consistency and efficiency. Define and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering flow, response times, document compliance, and shop support. Drive standardization, digitalization, and optimization of tools and systems for document and engineering management.
