We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the manufacturing engineering team. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to the Manufacturing Engineering function, increasing Manufacturing Engineers expertise by developing tools, skills, and procedures in accordance with Safran Corporate guidelines, and participating in the Plant Board Committee to support technical-related issues.
Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining tools, supporting the introduction of a new PDM system, ensuring availability and reliability of all technical data required to support manufacturing, contributing to the digital/seamless design roadmap, maintaining internal procedures to assure products manufacturability and quality objectives, training new Manufacturing Engineers, coordinating development of expertise within the manufacturing engineering community, ensuring company policy and best practices are implemented, and functional management of manufacturing engineering.
Skills required include good experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably high technology products and international footprint, technology knowledge in electronics assembly and mechanical engineering, ability to read/analyze/challenge technical specifications and drawings, familiarity with PLM and ERP systems, general knowledge of systems and applications development processes, knowledge of manufacturing excellence methodologies, analytical and problem-solving skills, organized and results-oriented, project management, and fluency in English.
