Your Role As Manufacturing Engineering Project Coordinator – Composites, you will play a key role in supporting the development, rate increase, industrialisation and sustainment of our manufacturing processes. Working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team and partners from other functions, your focus will be to ensure that projects are delivered to Safran's standards in terms of health, safety & environment (HSE), quality, cost, and delivery.

You will:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure feasibility and alignment
  • Coordinate priorities and schedules for Manufacturing Engineers through efficient project and capacity planning, ensuring business needs are met
  • Define, lead and chair governance routines to review and report on action plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on cost, escalating risks where required
  • Facilitate effective information flow and promote the adoption of lean, robust processes to secure the industrialisation and sustainment of our composite manufacturing

By driving the successful delivery of manufacturing projects, you will directly contribute to Safran's mission: crafting excellence in aerospace through reliable, sustainable, and innovative solutions.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong experience in project coordination within a manufacturing or engineering environment (Essential)
  • Sound understanding of technical documentation management and experience in using information systems such as SAP, PLM, CATIA, or similar (Essential)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a team (Essential)
  • Appreciation of project management principles and exposure to process improvement or lean methodologies (Desirable)
