Key Account Manager

Safran Aerosystems (SAO) designs high-technology solutions that optimize the performance of aircraft and flight safety. Number one worldwide in emergency evacuation systems and crew oxygen systems, Safran Aerosystems is also a major player in fuel and fluid systems. The Fuels and Fluids Systems Division (DSFF) of SAO, intervenes on fuel and fluid systems as well as anti-icing systems. You will be responsible for a portfolio of prospects and clients for the Americas region within the Division, both for the sales of new equipment and after-sales activities. In this role, you will have the following missions:

- Identify opportunities upstream and influence customer needs through prospecting and prescription actions.

- Create a long-term trust relationship with prospects/clients in the portfolio.

- Win new markets with existing customers and conquer new accounts.

- Manage the entire customer relationship on the dedicated activity, from responses to tenders to support to teams in charge of collection.

- Propose and have the strategy related to its activity validated by the Director of the pole and formalize it through Business Plans, in close collaboration with finance and the program.

- Negotiate, sometimes at high level, contracts in compliance with the procedures and delegations in force.

- Organize the framing, offer, and contract reviews in compliance with the existing delegations and ensure that the resulting actions are closed.

Internally, you will actively contribute to:

- Collecting market and competition intelligence.

- Participating in the construction of the Industrial and Commercial Plan and Medium-Term Plan.

Job requirements:

You have a degree of Bac+5 with confirmed experience as a salesperson, ideally in an industrial/aeronautical environment and/or in BtoB. You have a taste for technology and aeronautics, you know how to mobilize the right expertise internally and explore the technological needs of customers. You are recognized for your team spirit, customer focus, tenacity, and result orientation. You have excellent interpersonal skills, a quality of listening, an open mind and diplomacy. You are able to work independently while performing reporting to management. You are able to dialogue in writing and orally with an English-speaking correspondent in a multicultural environment.
