Safran Nacelles Mechanics

Located in Versailles, Ile de France, France, this is a permanent full-time position requiring a master degree and more than 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English.

Within the Technical Direction, the Methods and Tools sector is responsible for specifying, developing, industrializing, and maintaining digital tools and associated methods to support all design and calculation activities of Safran Nacelles. The Methods and Tools Engineer will work at the intersection of design and IT/digital professions, translating the needs for tool evolutions into specifications for the Safran Nacelles Information System to be shared with the Digital and Information Systems Directorate. They will also propose optimizations for design tool performance through innovative digital chains. Key responsibilities include capturing requirements in collaboration with various departments, designing solutions with the Digital and Information Systems Directorate, implementing improvements, managing large-scale development projects, and providing training and support for users.

The role requires an experienced engineer with a specialty in design and mechanical engineering, practical experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software like Dassault Systèmes' 3D Experience, and CAD software like CATIA. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills are essential. Experience in technical project management is a plus. Knowledge of EKL (Enterprise Knowledge Language), Visual Basic, and Python is beneficial.

Regular travel to the site in Le Havre is expected.
