Safran Electronics & Defense Product Support Engineer

The Avionics and Actuation Systems Excellence Center develops electromechanical actuation systems, ranging from cockpit systems (trims, throttle levers, rudder pedals, etc.) to flight controls (slats, thrust reversers, stability trim, etc.). You will work in a team responsible for monitoring and managing the evolutions of in-service equipment. Thanks to your technical knowledge of products, you will carry out: - analysis and processing of internal technical facts, MRO and customer feedback - support for production, in order to meet the quality/cost/time objectives of the Mantes and Casablanca factories (Deviations, 8D, etc.…) - definition evolutions to address technical facts and obsolescences. - project management of evolutions (qualification supplements, re-industrialization, adaptation to new carriers) A strong link with the production teams is necessary to characterize and find solutions to the various hazards encountered in manufacturing. As the focal point on a product family, you develop the best technical solution and implementation strategy with all departments (BE/Industrial/MRO/Quality/Program) according to Quality/Cost/Time criteria. In collaboration with the project manager, you ensure the progress of the project team tasks and the quality of the technical deliverables. You can rely on the cross-functional teams of the Technical Direction (designers, experts, Chief Engineers) to carry out your expertise and instruct your files. As you progress with your expertise, you offer your experience to the team to improve our products every day, whether in service life or in development.

With a generalist mechanical training, automation or electromechanical engineering is a plus, you ideally have experience in actuators, gearboxes, gears, endless screws, aerospace sector. You have a strong analytical and expertise capacity and are autonomous. You have good interpersonal skills and a taste for working with multidisciplinary teams as well as a good synthesis spirit. You like mechanical design (architecture, reading plans, CAD, pitch chains, dimensions).
