The Engineering Operations Assistant will provide organizational and administrative support to the Computer and Electrical Engineering Departments. This role focuses on streamlining processes, maintaining data integrity, and assisting with resource planning to enable engineers and managers to focus on technical priorities.
Job Requirements:
Project & Resource Management *Assist with forecast updates for projects and resource allocation in Project Server (when available). Track and review project overages with engineers. Process & Documentation Support *Clean up and maintain QMS processes and documentation. Organize and review OneNote content and departmental folders for best practices. Maintain and update training process documentation. Support general team organization of data (wiki, customer info, OneNote, department folders). Team Coordination & Support *Help with team check-ins for members needing additional support. Assist in planning team activities and events. Provide contractor supervision support. Support engineers with travel booking and logistics. Qualifications: *Strong organizational and time-management skills. *Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools *Ability to learn and navigate technical documentation and processes. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Prior experience in an engineering or technical environment preferred.
