DevOps Developer

Your Role

We are looking for a self-driven and initiative-rich developer with experience in DevOps, who wants to help further develop and operate our technical infrastructure – the role involves operating our own cluster of farm computers. You will play a central role in ensuring the availability, performance, and stability of our systems, while driving technical issues with external partners.

You will:

• Be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of our internal cluster of farm computers
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, log management, creation of KPIs, and infrastructure as code
• Be a driving force in technical discussions, both internally and with external parties
• Identify improvement areas and implement solutions that make a difference
• Work in a Scrum team where the work is planned for a longer period, which is then broken down into shorter sprints, with a demo as the final goal.

Furthermore, you will work with advanced technology in a business-critical environment with the opportunity to influence architecture, processes, and technology quality. We are an open and solution-oriented team with high technical competence where we work with freedom under responsibility and appreciate the great scope for initiative.

Your Profile

For this role, we believe that you:

• Have experience in DevOps work in Linux environments
• Have a good understanding of system operation, networks, and automation
• Thrive on taking responsibility and are used to working independently
• Have a problem-solving attitude and are driven by making things work in practice
• Are comfortable communicating with external suppliers and partners
• Have extensive experience with scripting in, for example, Bash and Python
• Have worked with Linux, Git, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Have an interest in code development, preferably with experience in C++ programming

It is meritorious if you have experience in:

• Managing cluster or server environments
• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
• Agile development methodology

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, it may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
