Your Role

We are looking for a strategic buyer who thrives in a business-oriented environment where collaboration creates the best conditions.

As a strategic buyer with us, you will be responsible for the entire commercial process from issuing tender requests and negotiating them, signing contracts and further developing them. You will work closely with production, projects, technology, and marketing.

You will also have overall responsibility for certain suppliers. This requires a structured working method, ability to drive supplier teams, and a good understanding of both business benefits and total cost perspective.

This involves more in-depth responsibilities such as:

• Issuing tender requests and managing bids
• Developing existing business with suppliers to find optimal and cost-effective maintenance capabilities
• Conducting cost analyses and continuously identifying and finding cost savings
• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies within defined areas
• Negotiating commercial terms, signing, further developing, and managing supplier contracts
• Following up and analyzing supplier performance related to cost, lead time, quality, and delivery capability

In the Tactical Support Solutions business unit, you will belong to the Sourcing team, which includes both operational and strategic purchasing. You will support Saab Tactical Electronics AB, a wholly-owned Saab company within BA Dynamics, but also additional Product Units within the business unit.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has experience working strategically and who thrives in cross-functional collaboration in organizations.

Formal requirements:

• Relevant education in purchasing/logistics, economics, or equivalent in the form of several years of experience.
• Several years of experience in good commercial assessment and development of strategic business relationships.
• Good computer skills and good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Express yourself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
