Your Role

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE), you will be a key player in our quality assurance, working closely with projects to ensure that our software meets both internal and external standards and customer requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of software deliverables, support for design reviewers, and the development of effective processes that promote smoother projects. You will follow projects from release to the finished product, ensuring that set plans and goals are met and maintaining close contact with customers.

Examples of tasks:

• Ensuring that processes and documentation meet requirements according to industry standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-178)
• Participating in quality assurance activities that include quality standards, methods, procedures, and tools
• Documenting quality deviations and maintaining a register of completed activities and solutions
• Documenting and executing necessary activities in accordance with the contract
• Reporting ongoing progress and insights within quality work to other parts of the organization

Your Profile

We are looking for a person who has previously worked with systematic quality work and can drive dialogue with stakeholders in a clear and independent manner. You have experience with methods, processes, plans, standards, and tools in quality management and work in a structured and orderly manner. We value that you are proactive, self-assured, and can make decisions when needed. You have a pedagogical ability and good communication skills, which allows you to support and guide colleagues in quality work.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience with systematic quality management within systems, where you have also had a decision-making role
• Education at least at the university level
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience with configuration management
• Training in RTCA/DO-178C or equivalent quality standards
• Experience with software development

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to current regulations for safety protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, it may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
