The Advanced Platforms area within the Engineering department is growing, and with that, the organization also needs to change. Last autumn 2024, our new organizational structure came into effect, and now a year later, both the department and the area need to grow even more, which means we are creating two new sections, Engineering Management and Airframe 5. We are now looking for committed and motivated leaders who want to be part of building up the new area Advanced Platforms!

Your Role

As the leader for Engineering Management within Advanced Platforms, you will be responsible for the cross-functional development within the area. The section will be responsible for ensuring the competence and working methods for overall design capability within the airframe domain and its system integration work. Similar sections are found in the other areas of the department and are held together by our overarching system management, which you will collaborate closely with to build a total capability. Within the area, we work with new materials and manufacturing techniques, fast construction solutions, production concepts, and its future technical challenges. We aim to try to break traditional structures and working methods to find more effective flows, and in your role as the operational chief, it is your task to lead the work and bring these together with your team.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, it may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
