Ops Manager

The Ops Manager manages the operations and personnel for locations with approximately 700 plus truck units. Roles including Operations Supervisors, Technicians-In-Charge, and/or Customer Service Coordinators, as well as Technicians, Service Employees and/or a Parts Responsible Person report to you and are there to support the needs of the assigned location. The Ops Manager must be able to accomplish results through direct involvement and limited delegation of work and responsibilities, thus ensuring business objectives and labor requirements are met. The Ops Manager is responsible for ensuring the customer's needs are being met while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets against the requirements of the business measured through leadership competencies and business metrics. This position is responsible for the management of the location(s) performance against metrics to meet and/or exceed assigned objectives. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the location is in compliance with and properly executing all key company processes, Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Repair Practices. As with all Ryder shop positions, the Ops Manager is responsible for adhering to all Ryder Maintenance Operations policies and procedures.

Candidates need 3-5 years' experience managing a heavy-duty truck repair shop. This role may also be a developmental position to prepare incumbents for the Senior Operations Manager role because we allow you to carve out your own career path and promote from within, based on performance. Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant's skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc.

Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: $85K

Maximum Pay Range: $85K
