Ryan Transportation and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a Sales Development Intern. This 10-week sales internship position is responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting appointments for the Business Development team to engage with prospects and supporting the sales cycle for our third-party logistics services. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious and dynamic sales personality.
• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers
• Utilize various channels (phone, email, social media) to initiate contact with decision-makers and influencers.
• Educate gatekeepers and decision-makers on our transportation and logistics services in effort to secure appointment for demos
• Schedule appointments and demos for Business Development team to further assess client needs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team as needed to develop targeted outreach campaigns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM software on all leads and activities.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly qualified lead quotas.
• Other duties as assigned
• Graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
• Internship runs 5/26/26 through 7/31/26
• Major or pursuit of certification in sales, entrepreneurship or professional selling
• Desire to pursue a career in sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with prospects
• Interest in transportation or finance industries
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent time-management and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Multilingual skills are a plus
