Sales Engineer

As a Regional Sales Engineer you will provide a single point contact for all Ruhrpumpen sales & customer support, managing the defined territory and leading strategic focus with regular interface for assigned accounts. You will be responsible for increase sales to expand market share and profitably grow for all Ruhrpumpen product offerings as well aftermarket services. This will be achieved with focus on sales of new pump equipment for South Brazil region. We are seeking a dynamic professional for an industrial sales role with a primary focus on End-user companies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for customers within the designated territory.
  • Expand business in the Industrial Market, with a primary focus on ParanĂ¡, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, along with other strategically defined special accounts.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal personnel.
  • Cultivate and sustain active relationships with key decision-makers to foster ongoing growth in customer and territory engagements.
  • Collaborate with customers to discern and articulate their individual needs.
  • Territory/customer forecasting, budgets, and adherence to company-approved systems, methods, and policies.
  • Conduct negotiations encompassing technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions for orders.
  • Manage all customer and territory interactions, ensuring daily updates in CRM (Sugar) and providing comprehensive forecasts, including industry, market, and account competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Desired 5+ years of experience selling new pumps, valves, mechanical seals or drivers for industry market.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 65% of the time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute individual business plans.
  • Experience selling for End-users companies for Industrial Market is preferred.
  • Good command of English and Portuguese (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in Spanish language will be an added advantage.
