Senior Consultant/Project Manager Operations: Focus on Production

Job Description

For our team, we are looking for new colleagues with a focus on production topics. We advise leading international companies in different industries in the area of production along three areas: Strategy, Network Optimization, and Plant Performance (Roland Berger SOP Framework).

Together with our clients, we develop innovative solutions and business models, e.g., on topics like Industry 4.0/IIoT & Digital Production, vertical integration, advanced manufacturing, footprint design, "Next Generation Manufacturing", factory planning, and the performance improvement of production systems, etc. – always with the goal of exceeding the expectations of our clients.

Our global project teams design future-oriented production strategies, holistically and cross-functionally optimize material and product costs, and help our clients to identify and realize improvement potentials and synergies in the value chain. In doing so, we take advantage of the opportunities of the digitalization of production and related business processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent degree from a university or renowned international technical university in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in production in one or more of the following areas: process optimization, production planning, lean manufacturing, production network optimization, Industry 4.0/IIoT/Cloud
• Experience in project management and in one or more of the following industries: automotive construction, automotive supplier industry, energy plant construction, large engines, turbo equipment, machine tool, metal production and processing and general mechanical engineering
• First leadership experience in the production and supply chain environment
• Analytical-conceptual skills, strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
• International experience and fluent German and English language skills
