We are seeking a District Sales Manager - South / Central Texas, to join our dynamic Sales organization. The territory for this role includes: Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and the Rio Grand Valley. This person will be ideally be based in Houston, TX. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

In this role, you will execute the Rockfon market strategies which are short and long term while working directly with the contractors, distributors and architects, selling and specifying Rockfon products. You will also present new product and make AIA presentations to architects, designers and end users. You will support contractors (45%), distributors (35%), architects (10%) and administrative (10%) within Houston, San Antonio, Austin and the Rio Grand Valley. Responsibilities include: account management, merchandising, updating binders, installing and maintaining displays, ensuring good price points, ordering and stock checking.
What You Bring: Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field. Strong relationships with contractors and distributors a MUST and secondarily, architects and designers. 5+ years experience in commercial sales within building materials a MUST and within ceilings a plus. Project Management skills. Excellent Presentation Skills. Skilled at building and maintaining high level relationships and networks. Microsoft Office Suite experience. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with 20% overnight travel.

The base salary range for this position is $97,000 - $112,000.00. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
