Job Description

Work as part of Phoenix team, fulfilling two roles for the team. As a Senior Software Engineer/Product Owner, you will be a leader that cares about how the services team owns are evolving. But if you also enjoy working with technology and developing or testing, then this position is for you, because it is combined with technical role. Team works on infrastructure backend services focused on provisioning and login workflows for complex Cloud product.

You will spend approximately half of your time filling role of Product Owner to manage team's backlog, shape Feature plans for Program Increments as part of SAFe program. Rest of the time will be with technologies, testing and developing. Team is working in hybrid mode in Prague, Czech Republic (3 days in the office) and reporting to manager Petr Louda.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the evolution and improvements of the team services from product capabilities viewpoint.
• Manage team backlog and plan for Program Increments using tools like Jira, Jira Align, JAMA and Confluence.
• Manage complexity and ambiguity as part of larger SAFe program. You will communicate with product managers, architects and other teams to manage dependencies, resolve capacity and timing issues, figuring out priorities on Features.
• Use your technical expertise for tasks for the team, including design and code reviews, implementation of code or automated tests.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• University degree in computer sciences, software development, or similar technical studies.
• 4+ years of experience in software development either as developer or tester in area of Cloud/Web Applications.
• Focus on delivering high-quality software and velocity of the team.
• Fluent in Czech language
• Fluent in English language

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience with languages used for backend development are a plus, like C#, C++ or TypeScript
• Experience with CI/CD development in GitHub, including GitHub Actions and FluxCD.
• Hands-on experience with Azure (or other big public Cloud provider), specifically AKS and Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of technologies or products like Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Loki and Grafana.
