Job Description

In this internship position in Commercial Engineering for PCB (Power Control Business) you will support the team in daily activities to create proposals with solutions to meet customer requests. Additionally, you will maintain tools, processes, and reports to increase team performance and improve the customer experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of the department, supporting the Commercial Engineering team by analyzing customer requirements and project specifications and proposing the best technical and economic solution to meet customer needs, utilizing existing quotation tools.
• Prepare and update status reports for the team on quotation activities.
• Receive and direct new quotation requests to the responsible person within the team.
• Communicate the proposal status to the sales team.
• Maintain Power BI reports that demonstrate business and team performance.
• Resolve issues related to the processes addressed.
• Support (leadership when necessary) a variety of analytical projects and business process improvements.
• Maintain applications in Power Apps, Microsoft Excel (macros), SharePoint and Power Automate that improve our processes.

The Essentials – You Will Have

• Be a student in higher education (college or technical school) in Engineering (electrical, automation, mechanical, production, or related).
• Availability to intern in a hybrid model.
• Commitment, organization, and a search for innovation to optimize processes.
• Intermediate English.

The Desirable – You Also May Have

• Technical course focused on the segment (electrical, electronics, mechanical, or related area).
• Intermediate Spanish.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI or other performance reporting applications.
• Ability to evaluate new technologies and learn/take advantage of new technological resources to improve deliveries.
• Experience in SAP.

Work Model – Hybrid

Rockwell Automation's hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
