Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children’s self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching tens of thousands of children every week – and we’re growing fast.
Our beautifully converted manor house in rural Liphook is home to many of our central office teams. From there, we all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. That’s what gets us out of bed in the morning.
We’re now seeking an experienced Director of Growth Marketing to shape and deliver strategies that expand our reach to more children and to attract exceptional talent to our mission. This role will lead the Head of B2B Marketing and the Head of Employer Brand to efficiently meet performance targets, amplify the Rocksteady brand, generate high-quality partnerships, and drive measurable, scalable growth.
As part of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the executive team to set clear objectives for new and existing partnerships and lead our go-to-market strategy and execution.

Drive the development and integration of AI tools and automations to improve marketing efficiency, audience segmentation, content generation, and campaign optimisation.
Working with agencies, shape and deliver a cohesive digital strategy, maximising performance across paid channels, search, social, email, and video, with clear experimentation frameworks and rapid learning loops.
Lead the next phase of our website, ensuring SEO excellence, strong UX, effective analytics, and high-converting landing pages to support lead generation.
Work closely with the Head of Employer Brand to ensure we attract and convert high-quality talent.
Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders, communicating campaign performance, growth progress, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead and support your team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and values-led environment.
Strategic thinker who uses data, experimentation, and insight to guide decisions and identify scalable growth levers.
Strong leadership experience in a growth-focused B2B or B2B2C role, with a track record of delivering measurable, sustainable growth.
Expertise in lead generation, demand generation, ABM, inbound marketing, and full-funnel growth strategies.
Hands-on experience with MarTech ecosystems (CRM, marketing automation, attribution tools, analytics platforms) and optimising them for efficiency and insight.
Experience designing and implementing AI and automation tools within marketing workflows such as for segmentation, lead scoring, content personalisation.
Confident in testing frameworks, rapid experimentation, and campaign optimisation to drive continuous improvement.
Experience managing agency relationships effectively to deliver performance outcomes.
Inclusive, supportive leader who enjoys developing people and creating high-performing, collaborative teams.
International marketing and NPD launch experience is a plus.
Experience in education-focused organisations is beneficial.
