About The Role

Rocket Lab's IT team supports global teams and operations across computer systems, networks, and devices. The Senior IT Support Specialist will be the sole support person for on-site IT infrastructure at the Propulsion Test Complex (PTC).

Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out day-to-day IT services
• Onboarding new hires
• Providing technical support and documentation
• Managing the IT Service Desk
• Building strong relationships
• Supporting launch operations

This position suits someone who seeks autonomy and ownership over their facility with support from the IT team.

You'll Bring The Below Experience

• 2+ years in a support or service role
• Basic understanding and experience in service delivery frameworks
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux desktop operating systems
• PC hardware assembly and dissemble
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• Networking infrastructure
• Virtualization technologies, public/private cloud

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have

• Certifications in CompTIAA+ or ITIL
• Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, O365
• Security Frameworks and technology
