Workplace Support Specialist
As a Workplace Support Specialist, you will perform several duties to service clients and maintain the integrity of office environments as a tenant representative. You will act as a client service coordinator assisting in client requests for workplace needs. You will ensure a safe, organized and functioning office space through regular environmental audits.
About the Role
- Create a positive experience for clients by addressing needs and answering questions with urgency
- Maintain functionality and appearance of the physical office by repairing furniture and equipment and replenishing supplies
- Assist office reorganization and special events through furniture and equipment moves
- Assist internal communication efforts by posting, delivering and removing signage
- Perform regular environmental audit of assigned floors
- Adhere to resources and tools to create work orders, track progress and provide effective communication to leadership and other teams
- Manage work order processes, coordinate site services vendors and schedule preventative maintenance
- Proactively identify and resolve issues and anticipate client needs
- Collaborate with the Workplace Support team, Building Maintenance, Focus sub-teams and leadership to execute and support projects to maintain a hospitable office environment
- Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages and provides client support in package tracking and shipment
- Order, receive, forecast, audit and maintain workplace inventory
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality or a related field
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or heavier
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to push and maneuver heavy carts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience finding solutions for clients and meeting client expectations
- Understanding of the challenges associated with physical workspace planning
- Experience in delivering written and verbal professional communication
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including into the evening or occasional weekends
- Ability to self-manage scope of work and time
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
