As a Team Lead Engineering Platform Success Region NALA (Engineering Manager), you will ensure and support the hardware, software, and/or service delivery as a leader setting focus, removing impediments, managing stakeholders, and creating efficiencies in collaboration wherever possible. You will focus on capabilities development of your team members that align with the function's vision and will encourage your team to self-define their career journey and seek ways to enable development opportunities in the direction of the journey. Hosting and Infrastructure (HI) provides mission critical on-premise infrastructure, cloud hosting, connectivity, and technology products that enable all functions at every Roche site to develop, innovate, connect, and deliver compliant digital products across the Roche Enterprise.
With Roche campuses and datacenters all over the globe, it is key to ensure successful adoption and facilitation of Network Platform infrastructure. Therefore, this Platform Success team serves as the primary bridge between business requirements and technical execution. The team is accountable for the execution of the lifecycle of network initiatives, from initial consultation and Connectivity Platform standard-compliant design to procurement and final delivery. As the representatives and engagement team for the Connectivity Foundations and Campus products, they orchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction.

Sets clear focus and priorities for the team's delivery work, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
Actively removes impediments and roadblocks to progress, escalating when necessary to protect the team's focus.
Manages and aligns stakeholders' expectations and needs, providing regular updates on progress and risks.
Creates efficiencies in collaboration wherever possible across teams and functions.
Performance & Optimization
Defines success metrics, analyzes workforce capability trends, and identifies opportunities for optimization to achieve business goals.
Translates data into actionable insights and regularly communicates delivery performance to stakeholders and the wider team.
Identifies and implements process improvements within the team and in its interactions with other teams to boost efficiency and quality.
Financial & Resource Mgmt.
Supports the development of detailed business cases for new products or significant features.
Makes data-driven decisions on how to allocate engineering, design, and other resources to maximize impact and achieve product goals.
Manages the team's budget, including headcount, operational costs, and vendor contracts, ensuring financial responsibility.
Who you are:
Bachelor or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
5+ years of experience in people leadership, product/service management, program management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of building high performing teams.
2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry.
Significant experience of implementing connectivity and networking in a large enterprise and with running RFPs.
Technical and business skills:
Understanding of software development and/or service delivery methodologies
Understanding of solution, information, and process architecture
Ability to create clarity about outcomes generated by teams

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $120,400 - $223,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
