As a Reinraum-Monitoring-System (RMS) / PI Automation Engineer you are in the Business Solutions area in the Pharma Engineering Solutions Drug Product circle of the Basel / Kaiseraugst location. The role is located in the Packaging, Storage, Logistics circle.
The Business Solutions area is responsible for the building and operational engineering, technical quality management and for a reliable troubleshooting and maintenance, including the operation of the required infrastructure. Furthermore, it is our responsibility to plan and implement innovative, cost-effective, and GMP-compliant investment projects. We support our management and business partners in biotechnological, chemical, and galenical production/packaging facilities, laboratory buildings, and administration buildings.
We offer internal customers/plant operators in the areas of research, development, launch, and market production as well as packaging, storage, and logistics, professional engineering services.
As a Reinraum-Monitoring System (RMS) / PI Automation Engineer, you are responsible for various areas, including the planning, realization, and operational engineering of the Reinraum-Monitoring System at the Kaiseraugst site. Furthermore, you support our business partners in the idea generation and concept creation of new, innovative solutions for the design of efficient production and monitoring processes. In the scope of operational engineering, you implement changes, problem solutions, and efficiency improvements in direct collaboration with the business partners.
Orders and projects are processed in self-organized specialist teams with a role-based working model without hierarchies. This requires a high degree of self-organization, foresight, and team spirit from you, as well as pronounced communication skills and offers you the opportunity to directly participate in shaping the working environment.
As an RMS / PI Automation Engineer in the Packaging, Storage, Logistics circle, you take care of existing and new automation systems that are integrated into the Roche infrastructure. The systems to be maintained have a very high degree of automation and are strongly interconnected or with higher-level IT systems.
You have a solid basic education with a completed degree (FH/TU) in automation or computer science or the corresponding knowledge as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in automation or computer science, preferably in the pharmaceutical environment. You are familiar with the handling of investment projects and have experience in project management and operational engineering in the pharmaceutical environment.
