In the Production Chemistry department within the Diagnostics Operations division in Penzberg, we manufacture reagents and ADIs for diagnostics and chemical research. The Team

We are the team of chemical-biotechnical production and are proud to supply important and high-quality reagents and materials to almost all units of the Diagnostics Division and our external partners. The Operational Engineering department supports the production plants with process, automation, and technical questions, provides 1st level support during plant shutdowns, and brings expertise to CAPEX projects.

Shape Our Department With Your Expertise

• You lead complex new and renovation projects in the production area and bring your expertise in innovative solution development with a particular focus on plant automation.

• Within projects, you ensure that the production facilities meet the state of the art, minimize risks through measures, and optimize plant safety.

• In close coordination with the interface partners from production, engineering, and the executing trades, you ensure maximum plant availability.

• You contribute to the creation of standard documents and the training of employees in compliance with valid quality and SHE regulations.

• In the technical systems, you work transparently and document the necessary documents for operators and authorities in collaboration with the maintenance managers.

• Together with the interface partners, you initiate and process changes and CAPAs, implement the necessary technical measures, and ensure the availability of the required documents.

We Are Looking For You

• You have successfully completed a degree in a technical field (engineering, mechanical or plant engineering, chemical engineering, process engineering) and have +5 years of experience as a plant engineer or project engineer.

• You are familiar with chemical process technology and plant automation and have an interest in further developing in the field of plant safety and in the area of explosion protection.

• You are confident in using technical regulations, explosion protection, and IT (including ERP systems, e.g., SAP).

• You value good teamwork, feedback, and coaching.

• You are characterized by an independent, solution-oriented, and proactive approach and a high level of commitment.

• Economic thinking, dealing with complex challenges, and innovation are among your strengths.
