The Position
The opportunity:
As an entry-level position in commercial operations, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to support various Brands (Squads) and Chapters. You will engage in a variety of tasks, from project work and brand-related administrative duties to assisting with the brand planning cycle and participating in customer-focused activities. This fluid position involves cross-functional responsibilities and provides the chance to collaborate with different Squad and Chapter teams, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with managers to support squad-related operational tasks, including project management for medical or marketing initiatives, and the ongoing management of tools and systems like Veeva, RPG, and EMS.
- Liaise with the contracts department, assist in developing materials for internal and external tactics, support medical education projects, and adopt Agile principles.
- May handle onboarding activities for Squad or Chapter and collaborate with the business to identify system and process improvements.
- Ensures compliance with Roche document management principles, supports business objectives, leads team gSites and gDrives, and shares best practices with associates and partners.
Who you are:
- You hold an undergraduate degree in sciences, healthcare, life sciences, and related fields.
- Currently enrolled in a Masters in Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization or Masters in Biotechnology program.
- Demonstrates basic analytical skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exhibits a continuous learner mindset, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and flexibility to work in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
Preferred:
- Additional technical skills or experiences, such as interactions with patients, nurses, pharmacists, or field teams, and the ability to work autonomously or in teams, are assets.
Additional Information:
Location: Hybrid, based in Mississauga (minimum 3 days in the office)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Length: This position is a 12-month work term (full-time) and is expected to begin in January 2025
