Junior Systembetreuer (M/W/D)

At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

You will be strengthening the Vertrieb Services (DEGSB) department. Even though you work a lot on the move, you are a permanent part of a committed team that supports each other. You will work closely with the sales and your regional service management. We maintain an open exchange and together ensure first-class service for our customers. As a team, we work closely together, support each other in complex installations and share our technical knowledge. You are an important point of contact between our customers, sales, and technical service to ensure smooth commissioning.

Responsibilities | What You Will Do

As a Junior Systembetreuer (M/W/D) you will gradually take over the technical responsibility for our installation base and represent Roche directly to the customer. Your focus is on ensuring smooth diagnostics through high device availability and excellent service. Your main tasks are:

  • You will perform professional installations, maintenance, and repairs of our Roche standard devices. You will analyze fault pictures precisely – both on-site and via remote support – and document your deployments carefully to ensure sustainable problem-solving.
  • Your expertise goes beyond hardware. You will instruct our customers in the operation and handling of the systems and support them with applicative questions and the use of reagents to ensure the optimal use of the devices.
  • As a technical contact on-site you will recognize the needs of our customers early on. You will advise on service contracts or preventive measures and work closely with sales to identify sales opportunities for system business or services.
  • You will organize your deployments in the region efficiently and independently. To ensure the continuous supply of patients, you will also participate in a regular on-call and standby duty.

Qualifications | What You Bring

In addition to a successfully completed training as a state-certified technician or a degree (e.g. FH) in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a similar field, you ideally bring first practical work experience (e.g. through internships, part-time student work or a technical apprenticeship) in dealing with complex technical systems - whether in electronics, hydraulics or measurement technology. The following points complete your profile:

  • Due to the regional deployment planning and travel times, you live in eastern Germany, ideally in the Cologne, Düsseldorf or Ruhr area region.
  • You move confidently in the use of control and operating software and understand the IT connection of modern analysis systems.
  • You speak fluent German and have good English skills (approx. B1/B2 level) to understand technical documentation and communicate with the team.
  • A chemical basic understanding helps you to grasp the functioning of our diagnostic systems more quickly.
  • You work independently, result-oriented and bring a high customer orientation with you. As part of a nationwide team you value the collegial exchange and are ready to take responsibility.

Your Application

We ask for the following documents:

  • Current resume
  • Your official (educational) certificates & proofs

Further documents are currently not required. Please note before sending your application that no further documents can be added afterwards.
