The Position

Werden Sie Teil unseres Teams in Mannheim! As a Packer/Kommissionierer (m/w/d) - befristet 2 Jahre, you will strengthen our team in the Logistics Operations department and are particularly responsible for the timely, daily, and careful picking, packing, and signing of customer orders according to specifications.

Your tasks include:

• The correct and safe receipt of goods deliveries and unloading of trucks
• Checking the deliveries against the documents
• Bringing the goods to a further processing capable state
• Error-free goods acceptance and storage according to system specifications and allocation to the correct storage units
• Correct packing, labeling, and sealing of packages according to system specifications while respecting transport security, damage-freeness, etc.
• Checking picked storage units and master data
• Operating, maintaining, and monitoring machines and systems
• Correctly providing shipment-ready packages considering system specifications regarding time, temperature, and dangerous goods

What you bring with you:

• Your vocational training in the craft or commercial sector, ideally as a retail packer or warehouse worker, has been successfully completed
• You have already gained professional experience in the warehouse/shipping area of a modern industrial company
• You possess a forklift driver’s license
• Your very good German language skills convince us in daily business in word and writing
• Your practical skills and basic PC knowledge as well as your technical basic understanding are just as outstanding as your ability to work in a team
• You know the GMP regulations and implement them
• You enjoy working together in a team and are also reliable and careful
• You have the willingness to be deployed in flexible working hours, early and late shifts, and possibly on Saturdays
• The position requires a reliability check as the activity takes place in the aviation security area.
