The Position

We are People Insights & Technology (PI&T), part of the People & Culture (P&C) organization. Our vision is to unleash exponential people & business impact through data driven decisions, surfacing actionable insights and embracing people-centric technology.

As part of the People Insights Area of Practice (AoP), we work as one team to unlock the full potential of our people data and technology, informing Roche decisions through research-based insights.

The Opportunity

As an HR Reporting Analyst, you will lead data analysis and insights generation, utilizing modern BI tools and advanced data preparation methods. You'll play a pivotal role in resolving customer issues with a customer-centric approach, while also coaching team members and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, you'll act as a leader within the global Insights Analyst Community, participating in high-priority projects and product development. Please note that the official name of the position is Insight Analyst.

  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of data analysis and insights generation and proficiency in utilizing and enhancing modern business intelligence (Qlik, Tableau, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of data preparation and querying methods and expert knowledge of Workday reporting and dashboarding solutions (Report writer & designer), or other HCM or ERP system
  • Acts as a coach to less experienced team members on reporting and data analysis
  • Has deeper understanding of the business and functions within the organization, including staying up to date with business priorities and initiatives
  • Independently resolves issues and navigates saying "no" with the customer in the center and develops a deep understanding of customers needs by utilizing data for the foundation for diagnosis and translating into recommendations and critical decisions
  • Is deeply connected to the work across the Area of Practice, often participating in high-priority projects and product development, may act as project or product lead

Who You Are

  • We are seeking an individual with a BS or MS degree in a quantitative discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential. Additional languages a plus, based on region/customer requirements
  • Experience working in Agile environments, ensuring flexibility and iterative project delivery
  • Proficiency in dealing with multiple stakeholders, managing expectations, and aligning goals
