✨ About The Role
- Drive the development of Rigetti’s Quantum Cloud Systems API, the interface for interacting with state-of-the-art quantum computers
- Develop and maintain the core service used to execute programs on Rigetti quantum processors
- Optimize the service for speed of execution, stability, and reliability
- Collaborate with various teams within Rigetti to ensure tight integration with cutting-edge hardware and infrastructure
- Lead research and development into new modes of execution, potentially resulting in publications, presentations, or patent applications
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with a track record of building and maintaining mission-critical, reliable, and performant systems
- Proficient in Rust, Golang, and Python with a deep understanding of schema-driven web APIs
- Skilled in event streaming systems like Kafka and experienced in architecting microservice architectures
- Strong background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics with knowledge of quantum computing and applications
- Independent worker who can lead the design and implementation of software packages from high-level requirements
