✨ About The Role
- The role involves materials selection and manufacturing process development for components used in cryogenic environments.
- The engineer will collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to develop custom hardware solutions.
- Developing and documenting validation test plans that align with hardware performance targets is a key responsibility.
- The engineer will perform failure analysis and provide root cause data for iterative design and process improvement.
- Supporting the Supply Chain team through supplier visits is also part of the job.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate has over 7 years of relevant industry or military experience.
- A bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience is preferred.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of PCB and flexible electronics design and fabrication.
- Experience in a hardware R&D environment from concept to prototype to production is essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
