Senior Services Sales Consultant - Northeast

Are you a dynamic communicator who thrives on building trust with executive stakeholders? Do you excel at shaping implementation strategies and closing complex service agreements in a fast-moving SaaS environment? Are you excited to drive innovation in enterprise service delivery for the investment management industry? If so, we invite you to be a part of our innovative team.

As a Senior Services Sales Consultant on Ridgeline's Customer Experience (CX) team, you will be responsible for driving the services component of our sales process, helping scope, price, and position implementation strategies that align with our customers' goals and Ridgeline's vision. You'll work closely with Business Development, Product, and Alliances to deliver seamless transitions from sales to implementation. In this pivotal role, you will shape discovery sessions, influence strategic deals, and champion our value-driven deployment methodology. You'll leverage cutting-edge technologies—including AI tools like ChatGPT—to enhance customer interactions and optimize services delivery.

At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners, choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions—not just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If this excites you, we'd love to meet you.

The impact you have:

  • Drive services strategy in partnership with Sales, Solutions Consultants, and Alliances
  • Shape discovery sessions to scope implementation needs and tailor deployment recommendations
  • Communicate Ridgeline's CX methodology to customers, showcasing value-driven outcomes
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and product teams to ensure accurate service pricing and scoping
  • Present technical and functional aspects of Ridgeline's services to executive and operational stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales and third-party firms to develop resource plans and delivery timelines
  • Finalize services agreements and Statements of Work that reflect clear, measurable outcomes
  • Ensure seamless transitions from Sales to Consulting teams, supporting staffing and planning
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting for services capacity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of services sales processes and cross-functional workflows
  • Represent Ridgeline at customer events and contribute to services-related content for conferences
  • Support Customer Success with upsell opportunities and outsourced operational offerings
  • Demonstrate ownership by proactively identifying opportunities to improve services strategy and execution
  • Embody a collaborative, resilient mindset in all cross-functional interactions

What we look for:

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, services sales, or a related role in financial services or asset management
  • 2+ years of executive-level relationship management and sales experience
  • Strong track record negotiating service contracts and Statements of Work
  • Demonstrated ability to present SaaS solutions to technical and business audiences
  • Familiarity with consultative and value-based selling methodologies
  • Deep understanding of asset management or financial services industry dynamics
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven cross-functional collaborator with internal teams and external partners
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Passion for leveraging AI tools and modern technology in customer interactions

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, serverless architecture, and APIs
  • Insight into asset management trends and the competitive landscape
