Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales and bid management efforts with focus on Public Transport Operators on the European market and other allocated markets. This role combines proactive existing customer engagement as well as new customer acquisition with strategic bid management, focusing on generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and delivering winning proposals. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth with existing customers and new customers, with the potential to take on a broader regional scope in the future.
Proven experience in sales, large enterprise sales, business development, or bid management with a track record of independently driving results. Experience with public transport IT solutions is a big plus. Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals with a customer-centric and results-oriented approach. Higher degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Technology. Excellent organizational skills with experience managing complex bids or proposals and delivering high-quality outcomes on time. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to foster trust and achieve business objectives. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office to streamline process and track progress toward goals. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends, bid requirements, and proactively identify opportunities for success. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work autonomously and take on expanded responsibilities in the future. Willingness to travel as needed to achieve business results.
Fluency in Slovenian and English (mandatory). Proficiency in an additional language (e.g., German, Italian, Swedish, Spanish, etc.) is a significant advantage.
