It Helpdesk & Application Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Helpdesk & Application Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a dual role: providing first-level IT support to employees and managing Yardi-related reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with strong technical skills, a customer service mindset, and experience working with Yardi, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Forms.

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and access problems.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, escalating when needed.
  3. Manage IT support tickets, track progress, and ensure timely resolution.
  4. Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and permissions.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, issues, and resolutions.
  6. Generate and maintain reports in Yardi to support operations, finance, and management.
  7. Build and optimize custom reports using SQL queries.
  8. Design and publish dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
  9. Collect and organize data using Microsoft Forms and other tools to support reporting needs.
  10. Partner with business units to understand reporting requirements and deliver accurate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support/helpdesk or a similar technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with Yardi software or any other related software (reporting).
  • Strong skills in SQL (query writing, data extraction).
  • Proficiency with Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports.
  • Experience using Microsoft Forms and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Experience with MS 365 and Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
