Transdev in Providence, Rhode Island is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer:

Maintain the interior cleanliness of fleet vehicles
Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
Perform light maintenance to vehicles, shop areas, and related facilities
Report maintenance issues to supervisor
Other duties as required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.)
Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – The majority of work is performed outdoors in an open parking lot, work alone and in remote locations.
Frequently walking for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles, and provide cleaning in all areas of the vehicle
Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise
